Passionate and focused on high quality project delivery, we strongly support our team to continuously evolve, learn and love what they do.
We are currently seeking an experienced Civil Construction Project Manager as we expand on our well-established reputation throughout regional Victoria.
Our approach to Project Management requires a practical, attention to detail approach - we immerse ourselves in our projects, get our hands dirty and understand the intricacies of detailed construction activities. This is not a purely office based role - you will be out with your team, getting stuck in and really making projects come to life.
Apex Earthworks delivers a wide variety of civil and bulk earthworks projects throughout the Goulburn Valley including bulk earthworks, pipelines, water storage facilities, landfills, road and intersection construction and sub-divisions to some of the region’s largest clients.
We pride ourselves on high quality work and innovative construction solutions.

the ability to grow, learn and take on leadership opportunities not found in larger businesses – with direct support from Business Directors
a supportive environment to challenge the norm and improve on common practice
opportunities to deliver key projects ranging up to $5M directly with clients and positively contributing to successful project outcomes
a highly attractive salary package including vehicle, computer and phone

Review and interpret design drawings for constructability, using your skills and knowledge to identify areas for improvement or innovative alternatives to improve client outcomes.
Ensure works are completed to required quality standards and records are maintained.
Prepare reports on progress, costs and coordinate the work scheduling and procurement.
Responsible for the preparation and maintenance of construction schedules, methods and equipment requirements.
Tertiary qualification in construction/civil engineering.
Demonstrated experience delivering civil construction projects up to $3M value - on the ground, practical skills rather than purely office based management.
Strong understanding of project management principles and applications.
Skills in planning and organising work schedules in P6 or MS Project.
Sound working knowledge of HS&E requirements and implementation of same.
Strong and clear communication skills with proven ability to engage others.
