Apex Earthworks is a proud leader in construction with over 40+ years experience delivering civil works across the Goulburn Valley and wider Regional Victoria. Originally founded by the Pearse family in the 1970's the business was purchased by Apex Earthworks in 2016 and has grown to become a leader in the provision civil works for the Central District of Victoria.

As a respected construction partner, we apply insights and lessons learned from recent and current projects through our continuous improvement processes, in order to constantly better the way we deliver our works. We work collaboratively with our clients to deliver successful projects based on a value for money solution. This encompasses sustainability, safety, quality as well as whole of life costs.

We acknowledge the Traditional Owners of country throughout Australia and recognise their continuing connection to land, waters and culture. We pay our respects to their Elders past, present and emerging.
OUR TEAM
Apex Earthworks has a workforce of high-calibre project managers and engineers, experienced plant operators and reliable work crews who have earned a strong reputation in the earthmoving and construction industries for the quality of their work.
We have teams based out of Shepparton Victoria that consist of highly experienced professionals that have worked extensively in the civil construction industry for over 15 years.
Our team has a variety of on the job experience working across both public and private sector, where we take the time to understand the key drivers required for the projects success, and then collaboratively develop a plan to deliver on these.
PAUL READE
Project Manager / Engineer
Paul brings over 15 years of experience in all phases of project delivery.

He demonstrates a detailed understanding of the considerations and protocols for the successful planning and execution of works, incorporating valuable lessons learnt from working on government and private-sector projects.
Paul’s practical experience is backed by strong credentials and a proven history of on-time, on-budget and high-quality project completion. As an accomplished team leader, Paul drives the quality delivery of all works.
HUGH ELLIS
Project Manager / Engineer
Hugh brings more than 15 years of experience in the design and construction of infrastructure and a strong focus on project management and delivery.
He demonstrates strong problem-solving skills with the ability to develop and apply innovative solutions to meet project requirements.
Hugh has an in-depth knowledge of public and private sector commercial environments and the key issues that drive successful project delivery, including meeting time, budget, safety, environmental & stakeholder requirements.
DAVID YOUNG
Construction Manager
David brings over 20 years of experience in VicRoads and council pavement construction, bulk earthworks and subdivision works.

His wide knowledge and understanding of road construction is shared and incorporated in executing a project successfully.
David's experience is supported by a detailed resume as an accomplished Construction Manager.
DANIEL COE
Project Manager
Daniel has 10 years of experience in the delivery of Water Treatment/Pipeline projects.

Having led multiple teams and overseeing budgets, schedules and resource plans, Daniel has a wealth of knowledge and experience in achieving a project on time and within budget.
RICHARD CANN
Civil Supervisor
Richard has been working in the construction industry for 20 years and brings extensive experience in supporting, developing and motivating teams to continually improve construction works. Possessing excellent interpersonal skills, He has a detailed understanding of the technical requirements of civil and earthmoving and has a key interest in the development of team members through mentoring.
MORGAN MILLER
Civil Supervisor
Morgan brings over 10 years of project experience in earthworks and road works, drainage and land remediation.
Morgan has recently been promoted to the Supervisors role after being a Foreman and Senior Plant Operator on several of our projects.
Has completed his Cert III in Civil Construction.
KEYUR PATEL
Project Engineer
Keyur has almost 4 years civil engineering experience across VicRoads and Council Road projects, subdivisions - roads, earthworks, paving, sewer/water infrastructure projects. Managing the delivery of multiple projects including all finances, programming and stakeholder management.
NAQASH PANHWAR
Project Engineer
Naqash has over 3 years' experience in Subdivisions and council projects.
He has been involved from tendering right through to project delivery, including project planning, stakeholder management and project documentation.
VIRGINIA BOWMAN
Project Controls Officer
Virginia has over 16 years experience in the construction industry across all aspects of project administration, support and controls.
She has developed a reputation as a highly knowledgeable project controls officer with a keen eye for detail through her experience across major infrastructure delivery in the mining, civil, commercial, rail, maritime and structural sectors.
Virginia keeps our projects running smoothly as well as supporting our Project Managers in maintaining our Health, Safety and Environmental management system
ALEX ELLIS
Business Process Manager
Alex leads the back office team to ensure business processes run at peak efficiency - supporting our teams on-site in delivering high-quality construction projects. With over 15 years of experience in both Civil Engineering and Operational Improvement consulting, Alex is uniquely placed to oversee the project support and administration teams to drive consistency, transparency and continuous improvement in Apex Earthwork's internal operations.
